MECH-I-TRONIC integrates Rotzinger PharmaPack and strengthens its presence in pharmaceutical packaging

MECH-I-TRONIC, a global player specialized in the development of advanced mechatronic solutions, strengthens its growth strategy in the pharma packaging sector through the integration of Rotzinger PharmaPack.

Milan/Waiblingen, April 13th, 2026: MECH-I-TRONIC, a global player specialized in the development of advanced mechatronic solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and packaging industries, strengthens its growth strategy in the pharma packaging sector through the integration of Rotzinger PharmaPack (formerly part of the Rotzinger Group).

In 2025, Rotzinger PharmaPack recorded revenues of approximately €26 million, employs around 110 people and is located in Waiblingen, near Stuttgart.

This acquisition expands MECH-I-TRONICic's capabilities in high-value industrial segments, pharma above all, where automation, traceability and process quality are non-negotiable.
It further strengthens the Group's position in pharmaceutical packaging technologies.

By joining MECH-I-TRONIC, Rotzinger PharmaPack becomes part of a network of 14 highly specialized companies, delivering tailor-made automation solutions for complex industrial applications. The Group recorded in 2025 total revenues exceeding €200 million, with an EBITDA of €30 million.

Rotzinger PharmaPack is a competence center for automation and packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. The company’s solutions range from individual machines to turnkey packaging systems, including filling and capping machines as well as cartoning and serialization/aggregation solutions for product traceability. In addition, Rotzinger PharmaPack offers solutions for the digitalization of production and packaging processes. Following its integration into MECH-I-TRONIC, Rotzinger PharmaPack’s core business, team and engineering know-how will remain unchanged. The company will continue to serve its global customer base and will operate from a new dedicated facility in Waiblingen, designed to support future growth.
