Chief Sales Officer (m/w/x)

Hansella is a globally active company and part of the Rotzinger Group. At our site in Viersen, we focus on the development, production and distribution of solutions that primarily meet the ever-increasing demands of the confectionery and pharmaceutical industries. Our team consists of around 150 dedicated employees. We have stood for innovation and reliability for 100 years and have been successfully involved in training for decades.

Your tasks:

  • Overall strategic and operational responsibility for national and international sales in the area of confectionery and bar production lines

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the sales team (incl. target agreements, employee development and coaching)

  • Development and implementation of a sales strategy to achieve the company's targets

  • Responsibility for market development, the customer portfolio and sales growth

  • Supporting key customers and actively acquiring new customers

  • Coordination of proposal preparation, pricing and contract negotiations

  • Close cooperation with the engineering, product management and marketing departments

  • Conducting and managing market, customer and competitor analyses

  • Representing the company at international trade fairs, symposia and customer events

Requirements

Your profile:

  • Completed technical studies (mechanical engineering, process engineering or similar) with a strong commercial focus or business studies with a technical focus

  • Several years of management experience in international technical sales, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering

  • Experience in the confectionery or food industry is an advantage

  • Strong leadership qualities as well as a cooperative and motivating management style

  • Entrepreneurial thinking, high customer orientation and strategic intuition

  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and excellent negotiating skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, other foreign languages an advantage

  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
